  • Kotaku tried as hard as they could to validate the rumor that Sony was implementing a "The PlayStation Home" which combines the MIIs from Nintendo Wii with the achievement points of the Xbox 360
    
  • You would be able to create avatars and then unlock items to decorate your space through game play
    
  • Kotaku decided to publish the rumor anyway and Sony stuck to their guns and cut Kotaku from Press events
    
  • They agreed to disagree and the story stayed posted on Kotaku and Sony allowed Kotaku back to the press events
